30th December Meeting Report

Four of us met for coffee on Wednesday 30th December at the library. Surprisingly, the cafe wasn't open, but we had a good talk anyway.

We had a good chat ......

Those present -
Dorothee Bechinger-English - studying PhD, and mother of .....
Sebastian English - student of Choreography etc at Dartington Hall
Medea Misch - retired eye surgeon

hi sorry i missed meeting you all. impossible day etc and on 15th jan i am examining all day so again cannot make the meeting. am frustrated as wish to contribute and share ideas

Meeting on 4th December

We had a very pleasant meeting on Friday, meeting at 2.30, and the last of us staying till 5 !! The cafe at the library don't seem to mind us being there so long - there is plenty of room !!

There were 4 of us there, Chris Donoghue, Julia Goacher, Liz Pilley, and me - apologies received from Dave Shewan (work), Alison Marsland (ill) Sarah Clayton (meeting) and Medea Misch (busy), and also from Tracey Collins (teaching)

Thoughts from meeting on Tuesday 18th August

From our talks last night, these were the main points to emerge:

Fruit Press Project


  • George to contact his friend to see if a trip to Somerset for a cheese press is going to actually happen.

  • Otherwise, to work out the best press to buy and actual figures for its purchase, & talk to 'eccentric millionaire' to get actual undertaking for funding.

  • George to check with Horton Country Park where the actual orchard is in relation to the showground for the Count
